Get To Know Me

I am a 20 something year old University of Georgia graduate with a whole lot of hair and a whole lot of passion. About a year after graduating I began to pursue my life long dream of acting. It wasn't until I realized that the lies I was telling myself on a regular basis were more powerful than I thought, (You've waited too late. Most actors start at such a younger age. People won't take you seriously if you tell them you want to act. Nobody will truly believe in you. You will never be able to book a job. You are going to chase this dream for years and then nothing will come from it. Too many people are trying to do what you want to do - it's not going to happen for you.) that I began to alter the way I was thinking. Once I did that - things started happening. 

The first footage I ever shot was when I was 6 years old and it mostly consisted of 10 solid minutes of cuddling with my cats, dancing to the beach boys in my room while wearing overalls or trying to annoy my sister in anyway possible. My parents had given my sister and I their old video camera after purchasing a new one for themselves. I'm pretty sure the older one weighed about my exact size at that time, but we didn't care - IT WAS A VIDEO CAMERA! 

Soon after realizing I could video anything my little heart desired - I started getting creative, and started recording things, A LOT. I became addicted. It was like Christmas morning everyday with that camera. It was the first thing I would think about when I woke up as well as the last. My sister and I filmed commercials, talk shows, movies, and game shows, you name it - we did it. And we did this for years and years. And we loved it.

And it looks like I'm getting to do it again....
